For Nokia 7650 and Siemens SX-1, Bluetooth headsets are not supported. For Nokia 6600 phones, you have to switch
Bluetooth headset on in Settings.
WAP: If you have WAP access, the easiest way to install the program is to go to wap.viking.tm and download it there.
PcSuite: download the SIS file, then install it using PcSuite (this requires that you connect your phone to your PC
with infrared, Bluetooth or a cable). PcSuite is loacted on the CD-ROM shipped with your phone, or can be downloaded
at the manufacturers' homepage (e.g. www.nokia.com).
If you are unable to save the SIS file, click on it with the right mouse button, a select "Save target as..."
If you receive "Mp3Player: memory full. Close some applications and try again" error message after importing
a skin, reinstall the program (this will restore the original skin).
If you have a phone that does not have a built-in mp3 player, and you use PcSuite for uploading mp3 files,
then you have to disable the automatic conversion of mp3 files to wav files
[how to switch this off].
If this does not solve the problem, then download the latest version.
Download the latest version, or MMC card failure.
After a successful purchase you will receive the 5-digit registration code. Download and install the
trial version of the program. After starting it, press 'Register', then enter the registration code.
If the registration fails, or you haven't received the registration code in 24 hours, contact us.
Newer versions use the same registration code.
Most Nokia phones support only 16kHz, mono audio, so it is recommended to resample your mp3 files
(usually 44.1kHz, stereo) e.g. with the free winLAME
program [tutorial in pdf] (e.g. to 92kbps, 16kHz, mono).
If you have SX-1, Nokia 6630 or a newer phone supporting 44.1kHz, this process is not recommended!
You need to plug in the earphone about half way, wait a second and then plug it in the rest (
usually this works, but not for all phones!)
Use Menu/Manager or Menu/Tools/Manager to remove the program.
If it does not work, then you should install a file manager utility (we recommend FExplorer),
and remove the program installation folder in \system\apps.
Install the new program without removing the old one (the program should not run on the phone).
If you are asked to enter the registration code, enter the old code (but usually the program remembers the code).
Future versions are free.
Wireless Link: Requires an infrared or Bluetooth adapter. After connecting the phone to the PC, click on the
appearing icon to transfer mp3 files to the phone. For phones with MMC, it is highly recommended to use the MMC
card for storing messages (set 'Memory in use' in Menu/Messaging/Settings/Other to 'MMC'
PC Suite: Requires Bluetooth or cable. PcSuite is loacted on the CD-ROM shipped with your phone, or can be
downloaded at the manufacturers' homepage (e.g. www.nokia.com).
If you have a phone that does not have a built-in mp3 player, then you have to disable the automatic conversion
of mp3 files to wav files [how to switch this off].
Use File Transfer to copy files to the phone.
Memory Card (MMC, RS MMC): Requires an MMC/RS MMC writer. Copy the mp3 files to the MMC directly, then instert
the MMC into the phone. Fastest and easiest method.
